A teenage boy hitched a ride with a friend in Campbell to avoid skateboarding in the rain. Upon getting a ride to school, the driver lost control of the wheel and crashed into the center median. “The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, was a passenger in a black BMW 2-door convertible that was traveling southbound on the expressway when around 8:09 a.m., the 18-year-old driver reportedly lost control of the car,” The Mercury News.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The skateboarding teen was fatally injured as the car crashed into the guardrail and it had pierced on the teen. Harris Personal Injury Lawyers would like to remind all to drive cautiously in the rain and remember to keep a safe distance between other cars. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers send our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the boy in the car.
