On Sunday, a car drove straight into San Leandro Marina. Luckily, two witnesses were on scene and jumped in to help the teenage driver and passenger in the car. San Francisco Gate reported on the accident and confirmed they were speeding in their 1990’s Nissan Maxima. The Nissan was going more than 60 miles per hour on Monarch Bay Drive when the driver hit the curb, lost control and smashed into the rocks at the edge of the bay. Once the car hit the rocks, it flipped and landed upside down in the water. Thankfully the witnesses saved the two. Further information has yet to be released.
