Early Wednesday morning, a car crashed into a home in the Barrio Logan area. According to NBC San Diego News Channel Seven, the incident happened near the intersection of National Avenue and S Evans Street at about 4:30 a.m. Initial reports indicate that the driver ran out of gas on the Coronado Bridge. His vehicle then reportedly rolled down the off-ramp and went through a gate before crashing into the home.

Very little information about this one-vehicle crash has been released, but we do know that the people inside of the house were evacuated immediately. The home was a part of a duplex structure. Thankfully, no injuries were reported on the scene. The driver involved was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).
