On Wednesday, a one-vehicle crash ended in flames in El Cajon. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened in the 9600 block of Chocolat Summit Drive off of Interstate Eight, just after 11:00 p.m. Very few details about this one-car crash have been released, but we do know that the driver reportedly lost control of his vehicle near Dunbar Lane and plummeted off of the roadway.

The car crashed through two fences and came to rest beside a large propane tank. The vehicle burst into flames, and first responders rushed to the scene. At least one person was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries. There has been no word on that person’s condition, the extent of injuries involved or the cause of the crash. This wreck is likely still under investigation.
