The wreck occurred south of Cannon Road in Carlsbad on September 17th. A traffic alert was issued, and at least one person went to the hospital. According to the California Highway Patrol, traffic had to be shut down in both directions for almost two hours. The San Diego Union-Tribune reports that in addition to the SUV and semi-truck, an additional vehicle may have been involved.
