Chain Reaction Crash on SR 94

Earlier this week, there was a chain-reaction crash on State Route 94 in the Webster Area. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the wreck happened at about 12:10 a.m., early Monday morning. Apparently, a black sedan headed southbound on Euclid Avenue veered off of the road and went down an embankment and onto a westbound lane of SR-94.

That caused several vehicles to collide in a chain-reaction crash. Witnesses on the scene sprang into action using a light to wave down traffic to prevent any further wrecks. When first responders arrived on the scene, they had to deploy the Jaws of Life to remove the driver from the black sedan. She and several others had to be transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries. This cause of this crash is likely still under investigation with the California Highway Patrol.
