Charges Made in Pedestrian Crash

Charges have been made in the case of an October crash that seriously injured a 24-year-old pedestrian. On October 11th, Brent MacDonald Pella struck a pedestrian in downtown Santa Barbara. On Monday, the Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office filed charges against Pella. He has been charged with felony DUI with a special allegation of great bodily injury.

The pedestrian, Camden Partridge of Fullerton, was in the crosswalk at the time of the crash. Pella did submit to a breath test and blood alcohol test after the wreck. According to KEYT News Channel Three, his breath test measured .11 which is above the legal limit.
