On Sunday afternoon, a five-year-old child was attacked by a pit bull in a residential area of Vista. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened just after 5:00 p.m. at a family home on Rhea Place. Very few details about this dog attack have been released, but we do know that the five-year-old boy had to be airlifted to Rady Children’s Hospital for the treatment of injuries. Although he was bitten on the head, he was reportedly in stable condition as of Monday. The dog was taken into the custody of animal control. No additional information or news has been released about this dog attack.
