Earlier this week, a nine-year-old girl was injured when the dockless scooter she was riding crashed into a tree in San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened in the 4200 block of Dwight Street in City Heights at about 7:30 p.m. Very few details about the incident have been released, but we do know that a nine-year-old girl and her teenage sister were both riding on a dockless scooter at the time of the crash.

The teen was riding on the back of the scooter and reported fell off of it prior to the crash. The younger sister stayed on the scooter but lost control of it and crashed into a tree. She was transported to the hospital for treatment of a fractured femur. There has been no word on whether or not her sister suffered from any injuries during the fall.
