Children Injured in Mission Valley Crash

On Sunday, at least four people were injured, including two children, in a crash that happened in Mission Valley. According to ABC Channel 10 News, the wreck happened sometime before 2:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 8, west of Interstate 805. For currently unknown reasons, a woman who was driving a black SUV with a learner’s permit lost control of her vehicle.

She swerved into another lane, crashed into a wall and overturned on the roadway. The wreck caused three other vehicles to have a chain reaction crash. The two adults from the black SUV, including the driver, were taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatment of injuries, and two children from the same car were taken to Rady Children’s Hospital.
