In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a hit-and-run driver in Chula Vista struck a pedestrian. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened in the 100 block of Orange Avenue at about 1:45 a.m. The pedestrian was rushed to the hospital for treatment of severely injured legs. Very few details about this crash have been released, but law enforcement officers found some of the injured man’s belongs, including his shoes and headphones, further down the roadway.

Although the pedestrian was conscious, he may have been disoriented from the crash. No information has been released on his current condition, and there has been no word on whether or not officers have detained anybody associated with the hit-and-run collision.
