A Compton Metro Blue Line train crashed into a car and injured the people in the vehicle over the weekend. This incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. between Willowbrook and the Compton train station at 119th Street. According to My News LA, there were two people in the car who were transported to the hospital for treatment. Only one person on the train complained of chest pains and was taken to the local hospital for treatment. There are not any further news updates on the accident, however, the crash did shut down both north and southbound traffic near the train tracks.
