A Concord woman died in a hit-and-run collision in Laytonville on Sunday. The woman was riding passenger in a Ford Falcon and they were driving southbound on Highway 101 when their vehicle was hit directly head on by a Ford Explorer that veered into their lanes. The Ford collided to the right of her vehicle, causing her to die from the impact. The male driver suffered major injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The driver of the Ford Explorer fled the scene and is still at large, according to Patch. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers send our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the woman. We have the male driver in our prayers in hopes for a full recovery.
