Last Saturday night in Cayucos, a vehicle collided with a 47-year-old cyclist who has recently been confirmed dead. The incident occurred on Old Creek Road east of Highway 1. A 59-year-old driver was driving in his Toyota truck past Montecito Road when he crossed a double yellow line to pass the car in front of him. As he crossed the double yellow line he did not see a cyclist traveling towards him and they hit head-on, The Tribune. The man in the truck pulled over and found the cyclist on the ground-suffering fatal injuries. No arrests were made, as authorities ruled out alcohol or drugs in the incident. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers send our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the cyclist.
