There was a multi-car crash in South Los Angeles on Sunday which ultimately took the lives of two people. The accident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Interstate 110 Freeway near Slauson Avenue. According to authorities, two people in a Scion SUV came to an unbeknownst stop in their lane. A vehicle then slammed into the back of their vehicle. The woman and the man in the Scion were killed upon impact. This caused a chain reaction of rear-ender accidents involving three more vehicles which caused more impact on the initial Scion. According to KTLA 5 News, “Only one person involved in those crashes complained of pain, but was also expected to be OK.”
