Two unleashed pit bulls attacked a dog and the dogs’ owner over the weekend. The man was on Catalina Island with his Jack Russell terrier when the Jack Russell terrier was attacked. The owner tried to intervene and separate the dogs; however, he became the next victim. John Brady is his name, and he was airlifted off Avalon Pier with serious injuries. He is currently in the hospital undergoing surgeries but is expected to be okay. He will need skin grafts on both legs and will require multiple surgeries.  Brady told Fox News, “All I did is lift my dog off the ground and I was being chewed on instantly.”

Being attacked or bitten by a dog can be an extremely traumatic experience.  Scarring and injuries from dog bites or attacks, as well as the mental anguish, can last a lifetime. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers have Mr. Brady in our prayers in hopes he recovers quickly.
