Driver Hits Apartment Building in Santa Barbara

Over the weekend, a driver crashed into an apartment building in Santa Barbara. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened last Saturday morning, on the 2600 block of State Street. Very few details have been released about this incident, but we do know that the driver reportedly clipped a parked vehicle before crossing the sidewalk, driving through hedges and hitting the apartment building.

The driver was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of injuries. Thankfully, no other injuries were reported on the scene. At this time, there has been no word on why the driver crashed into the apartment building, and this incident is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials. Additionally, no information has been released on the extent of damage done to the two-story, four-unit building.
