Early Wednesday morning, a car that was being pursued by law enforcement officers in San Diego struck an Uber. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened at the intersection of Sigsbee Street and National Avenue at about 1:00 a.m. Initial reports indicate that police officers were in pursuit of a car that was being driven erratically. During the pursuit, the vehicle struck an Uber that was carrying two passengers at the time of the crash.

The Uber car was stopped at a red light when the vehicle slammed into it. After hitting the Uber, the driver backed up and took off again. No information has been released on whether or not the driver has been apprehended. Thankfully, no life-threatening injuries were reported on the scene. This incident could still be under investigation.
