Drunk Driver Hits Fire Truck in San Diego

Over the weekend, a suspected drunk driver crashed his vehicle into a San Diego Fire-Rescue truck in the Mission Bay area. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on Sea World Drive at about 11:00 p.m. on Sunday night. Very few details have been released about this apparent drunk driving crash, but we do know that the driver’s vehicle clipped the fire truck.

The bumper of the suspected drunk driver’s vehicle came off during the wreck, and there was some damage to the fire truck. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported on the scene. The driver was arrested after taking field sobriety tests. This incident could still be under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
