Early Wednesday morning, law enforcement officers chased down a suspected drunk driver in San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on the 700 block of Euclid Avenue, just south of State Route 94, at about 2:20 a.m. Initial reports indicate that a driver failed to pull over for a law enforcement officer.

The driver fled south, and law enforcement officers pursued. The suspected drunk driver tried to drive over trolley tracks. In an effort to flee, the vehicle got stuck on the tracks. The driver was taken into custody on suspicion of drunk driving. Law enforcement officers and crews with the Metropolitan Transit system had to tow the vehicle off of the tracks.
