On Tuesday morning, officials located an elderly man who had been previously reported missing. According to KEYT News Channel Three, he was found alive in his wrecked vehicle beside Harris Grade Road in Lompoc. Very few details have been released, but we do know that the first responders–Santa Barbara Fire Department and the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. They located the vehicle about 10 feet over the side of the roadway.
He was assessed on the scene and then transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment to minor to moderate injuries. There has been no word on his current condition, the cause of the crash or how long he was missing. This wreck is still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
