Elderly Pedestrian Struck and Injured in San Diego

Earlier this week, a 70-year-old man was severely injured when he was struck by a pickup truck in San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened near Horton Plaza on Monday afternoon. Apparently, the elderly pedestrian was crossing G Street in downtown San Diego when he was struck by a pickup truck. The truck was reportedly leaving a parking structure that was located just east of Third Avenue.

First responders rushed to the scene, where they found the elderly pedestrian seriously injured. He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. At this time, there has been no word on his current condition, and the cause of this pedestrian crash is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement authorities.
