On Sunday in Vista, a woman was killed by an allegedly drunk driver. The accident occurred on State Route 78 at Mar Vista Drive around 2:15 a.m. According to the Times of San Diego, A 33-year-old woman behind the wheel of a Toyota Corolla drifted into the dirt to the right, then veered back left across four traffic lanes and into the center divider. The car crashed into the center divider and was then struck by a Scion XB. The result of the crash caused the woman to be ejected from her vehicle. She was confirmed dead at the scene. Another vehicle, Scion XC then collided into the Scion XB. Major injuries were reported from both of the Scions. Furthermore, both drivers in the Scions were allegedly under the influence at the time of the accident.
