Fatal Car Crash in Downtown Los Angeles
Last week, there was a fatal car crash in downtown Los Angeles. According to ABC News Channel Seven, the wreck happened near Alameda Street on the northbound 101 Freeway at about 5:00 a.m. on Thursday morning. Initial reports indicate that one person was killed in the crash, but there has been no word on whether or not anybody else was injured.
Officials with the California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the crash scene, and a portion of the freeway had to be closed as crews and investigators worked. Rush hour traffic had to be diverted to the 110 Freeway for northbound drivers until about 7:00 a.m. The cause of this fatal car crash is likely still under investigation with the CHP.
