Fatal Car Crash in Ramona 

Over the weekend, there was a fatal one-vehicle crash in Ramona. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on Sunday afternoon near the intersection of San Vicente and Wildcat Canyon Roads. Sometime after 5:00 p.m., a Chevrolet Camaro was headed eastbound on San Vicente Road, when the driver lost control of the car. The Camaro left the roadway, hit some trees, and caught fire.  

Initial reports indicate that the driver and passenger were both pronounced dead on the scene. Law enforcement officials are looking into whether or not drugs or alcohol were factors in this crash. Speed may have played a role, but the cause of this fatal wreck is still under investigation with authorities.
