Fatal Crash in Reseda

Over the weekend, there was a fatal crash in Reseda. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened on Corbin Avenue, just north of Saticoy Street, at about 8:05 p.m. on Sunday evening. Initial reports indicate that a Mini Cooper and a BMW M3 were headed north on Corbin, when the Mini hit a Kia Optima. The Kia was pushed into oncoming lanes of traffic and crashed into a Volkswagen Golf. The BMW driver lost control of his vehicle and swerved into oncoming traffic and crashed into a Chevy Silverado.

The BMW basically exploded, and the driver was killed on the scene. The Silverado went on to hit parked cars in the area. Several others were injured in this crash. Although this fatal crash is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials, speed is considered to be a factor.
