A pilot of a motorized hang glider was found dead in a Goleta apartment complex on Tuesday. The 45-year-old pilot crashed into a parked car at the Willow Springs Apartment in Goleta. Apparently, he took off in his hang glider at 10:04 a.m. and crashed at 10:09 a.m. The authorities are investigating the crash, and the FAA is determining the cause of death. The pilot fell from over 2,000 feet and did not survive.
