A woman in a pickup truck was killed on Highway 166 on Wednesday evening. The woman was driving eastbound on Highway 166 when she veered in westbound lanes into oncoming traffic and collided with an oil tanker. According to KSBY News, driver of the oil tanker said he noticed the other vehicle and tried to slow down, but he could not avoid the head-on crash.

The pickup truck burst into flames and the woman driver was confirmed dead at the scene. The oil tanker flipped, and when emergency crews tried to bring it upright, it exploded. The driver in the oil tanker was uninjured. Highway 166 is closed for the cleanup.  The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers send our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the woman who died.
