Fatal Hit and Run Crash in Los Angeles

Earlier this week, law enforcement officers in Los Angeles were calling on the public to help identify a hit-and-run driver that fatally struck a pedestrian in September. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the incident happened on September 27 near the intersection of Vermont Avenue and Council Street in Koreatown. Although paramedics responded to the scene and transported the injured pedestrian, a 24-year-old man, to the hospital, he did not survive his injuries.

At this time, investigators are looking at two vehicles of interest. One of the vehicles appears to be a gray sedan, and the other one looks like a gray van. Anybody with information about either of these vehicles or the incident is being asked to contact the police department or crime stoppers. There is a reward for information leading to the identification, apprehension and conviction of the hit-and-run driver.
