Fatal Hit-and-Run in Chollas Creek

Last week, there was a fatal hit-and-run crash in Chollas Creek. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on Friday morning on Chollas Parkway. Very little information has been released about this crash, but we do know that the pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene. Initial reports indicate that this collision happened at about 1:00 a.m., and the pedestrian may have been walking in the street at the time of the wreck.

The vehicle involved, which hasn’t yet been located, is thought to be a racer-type car with a loud muffler. It was last seen heading southbound on 54th street. At this time, no information has been released on any case developments, and this crash is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
