Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Highway 33

On Sunday, a motorcyclist from Santa Barbara was killed on Highway 33 in Ventura County. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened at about 11:25 a.m. in the Pine Mountain Area. For currently unknown reasons, the motorcycle left the roadway and then collided with an object on the roadside.

The rider, 65-year-old Donald Hulsebos, was declared dead on the scene. Initial witness reports indicate that he may have been riding with a group of motorcyclists prior to the wreck. Very few details about the crash have been released, and the cause of the wreck is still under investigation with the California Highway Patrol.
