Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash in San Diego

On Sunday, a multi-car crash took the life of one person and sent at least two other people to the hospital. The four-vehicle wreck happened in the Harborview area. ABC Channel 10 News reports that the crash happened at about 7:10 p.m. at the intersection of Grape Street and Harbor Drive. According to Michelle Ganon, director of marketing communications for the Port of San Diego, parts of Harbor Drive were closed until after midnight.

One of the cars rolled over multiple times. First responders from the San Diego Fire Department arrived swiftly. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and two other people were rushed to the hospital. There is no word on the extent of their injuries or their current conditions. No official information has been released about the cause of this four-vehicle crash, but reporters with Channel 10 News did remark that one driver may have suffered from a medical emergency.
