Fatal Pedestrian Hit and Run Crash

Earlier this week, there was a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian crash in San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened early Tuesday morning in a parking lot on the 800 block of B Street, near Eighth Avenue. A man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in a pay parking lot. Very few details have been released about this fatal collision, but we do know that a witness reportedly saw a black truck hit the man and leave the scene.

First responders rushed to the scene, where they attempted life-saving measures on the injured pedestrian. Sadly, he did not survive his injuries. Law enforcement officials are on the lookout for a mid-90s Ford F-150 pickup truck with a custom flatbed, a chrome diamond-patterned toolbox and a spare tire in the bed. Anybody with information about this crash is being asked to come forward.
