On Thursday morning, one person was killed and six others were injured during a training exercise at Camp Pendleton. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident involved a light armored vehicle and happened at about 9:00 a.m. Very few details about this fatal rollover crash have been released, but initial reports indicate that the vehicle was part of the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division.

At this time, there has been no word on the cause of the crash or on the identity of the Marine who was killed. Additionally, there has been no update on the marines who were injured during the rollover. Their injuries were not described as life threatening. This incident is likely still under investigation with officials.
