Fatal Rollover Crash on SR-76
On Monday, one person was killed in a rollover crash on State Route 76. According to NBC San Diego News Channel Seven, the incident happened between the Pauma and Pala Casinos just after midnight. For currently unknown reasons, a Toyota Corolla crashed into a ravine. There were three people in the car at the time of the crash. A 22-year-old passenger was ejected from the vehicle and died on the scene.
The two other people in the car were transported to Palomar Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. At this time, very few details about this one-car crash have been released, but law enforcement officers are looking into whether or not alcohol or speed were factors.
