On Friday, three vehicles collided, resulting in one death and four injuries in Pleasanton. The accident occurred at the Hopyard Road and Owens Drive intersection. A Subaru and a Toyota SUV collided resulting in major damage and a Nissan Versa sustained moderate damage from the collision. The investigators told CBS SFBay Area, the Toyota was headed north on Hopyard when it struck the Subaru, which was turning onto eastbound Owens Drive.

A 61-year-old woman in the Subaru was transported to the local hospital with major injuries where she died shortly after. There were four others who sustained minor to moderate injuries, they were transported to the local hospital as well.
