Fatal Three-Vehicle Crash in Rialto

Over the weekend, there was a fatal three-vehicle crash in Rialto. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the collision happened at the intersection of Baseline Road and Sycamore Avenue at about 5:35 on Saturday afternoon. Initial reports indicate that the wreck involved a stolen vehicle. Apparently, a 1999 red Acura Integra was stolen from a parking lot on the 400 block of West Baseline road, about two miles from where the crash happened.

At this time, it’s unclear what events led to the crash or if the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed, but we do know that two other vehicles were hit. The driver of the stolen vehicle, a 35-year-old San Bernardino resident, sustained fatal injuries in the wreck, and the drivers of the other two vehicles were also injured. This crash is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement authorities.
