Last Friday morning, there was a fatal two-car crash in Escondido. According to ABC News Channel 10, the incident happened at about 4:45 a.m. at the intersection of Centre City Parkway and Brotherton Road. Although very few details about this crash have been released, initial reports indicate that a driver in an Acura Integra was attempting a left-hand turn from the South Escondido Boulevard connector to Centre City Parkway at the time of the crash. That vehicle collided with a Toyota Camry.

A portion of the roadway had to be closed for hours as crews and first responders worked the scene. One of the drivers was killed in the crash. The cause of this collision is still under investigation with local law enforcement authorities, and they’re asking for witnesses or anybody with information about the crash to come forward.
