A pedestrian was struck at an intersection in Mira Mesa at a busy intersection on Tuesday. A woman was walking northbound in the crosswalk on Mira Mesa Boulevard when she was struck by an oncoming car at the Black Mountain Road intersection. The driver did stay at the scene, and the woman was immediately taken to the local hospital. She suffered several injuries, including a fractured pelvis and head injuries, per NBC San Diego News.
