Fiery Mountain View Crash Ends in Arrest

Earlier this week, there was a fiery crash in the Mountain View area. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the wreck happened on Interstate 805, near Benfield Court, at about 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday night. Apparently, there were two vehicles involved in this crash, and one of them went up in flames. Initial reports indicate that a Nissan 350Z and another car collided.

After the crash, the Nissan caught on fire. Thankfully, the driver was able to escape the wreckage, however, it did take fire crews more than 20 minutes to put out the blaze. The driver of the Nissan was treated on the scene for injuries and then arrested. At this time, details about her charges haven’t been released. This crash may still be under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
