A 13-year-old filed a lawsuit yesterday against Uber on behalf of his father’s death. Vasco Lucas Nunes, a famous Portuguese cinematographer, producer and film director was killed in 2016 after an Uber cut in front of his motorcycle causing him to crash. My News LA reported that the Uber driver, Ausler, was driving west with a passenger on Beverly Boulevard when he made a left turn into the path of Nunes, who was on a motorcycle. Nunes was propelled into the air and landed on the pavement, where he was given CPR by a good Samaritan. The lawsuit stated, Nunes died moments after the accident. The lawsuit was filed by his paternal grandmother, Andrea Doane Timoner. Uber has yet to reply to the lawsuit allegation.
