On Monday night, four people were injured in a crash involving a minivan in El Cajon. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, four young men were ejected from the vehicle during a rollover. Very few details about this injury crash have been released, but initial reports indicate that the minivan was traveling northbound on Avocado Avenue at a high rate of speed, when the driver lost control off the vehicle. It left the roadway, hit a rock wall, rolled over and then caught fire.
A wooden utility pole near the wreckage also caught on fire. First responders rushed to the scene, where all four occupants had been ejected from the vehicle. They were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries. This crash is still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
