On Thursday, good Samaritans helped a woman who was trapped in her vehicle after a crash on Interstate 8. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened at about 1:00 a.m. near Mission Center Road in Mission Valley. Very few details have been released about the crash, but we do know that the vehicle crashed into the center divider and overturned. Drivers who witnessed the crash pulled over to offer assistance.


They were able to get the woman out of the vehicle to safety. She was later transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries. At this time, there has been no word on the cause of the crash, which is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
