A teenager was struck by an SUV in El Cajon and is seriously injured from the impact. The teenager was crossing the street with three friends when one was struck by a car. The victim is a football player at Granite Hills High School.

The boys were walking across Washington Avenue when the accident occurred. Per NBC San Diego, a witness ran out to perform CPR on the boy after he was struck. The boy was then transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
