A woman from Guadalupe was killed by an Amtrak train yesterday afternoon. The crash occurred at 3:00 p.m. on Highway 1 near West Main Street. According to Noozhawk, The police were investigating statements from witnesses who reported that the driver went around the railroad crossing arms, which showed signs of damage from the crash. The woman’s vehicle was found on his side. The lanes were closed for more than three hours for the authorities to investigate the accident.
