High Speed Tesla Crash in Covina
Over the weekend, a Tesla traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into a house in Covina. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened on Saturday night near the 10 Freeway and Grand Avenue. Apparently, the Tesla Model 3 hit a utility pole and two vehicles before hitting a parked car in a driveway and then crashing into another vehicle in the house’s garage.
Initial reports indicate that the vehicle was going about 90 miles per hour at some point prior to the crash. After the wreck, the driver fled on foot, leaving an injured passenger behind. First responders and law enforcement officers rushed to the scene, and the passenger had to be transported to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. There has been no word on whether or not the driver has been located and apprehended, and this crash may still be under investigation with law enforcement officials.
