Highway 101 Injury Crash

On Wednesday, at least two people were injured in a collision on Highway 101, south of Rincon. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened at about 11:55 a.m., in the Seacliff area. For currently unknown reasons, a vehicle left the roadway and traveled about 60 feet.

First responders and crews from Ventura County were swiftly on the scene. The vehicle had seven people in it at the time of the crash, and two of them were transported to hospital for treatment of injuries. Additionally, a small, black dog was also reportedly lost from the vehicle during the wreck. At this time, there’s no word on the extent of injuries involved or the conditions of the injured people. The cause of this crash is likely still under investigation.
