Tuesday Morning on the Highway 166, a semi-truck carrying double trailers, collided with a Dodge van. The CHP told Noozhawk, “The van was westbound when it crossed over double-yellow lines to pass another vehicle on a curve.”  Unfortunately, the semi-truck had spilled the entire load of gravel. This incident occurred 15 miles outside of Santa Maria and caused a road closure until mid-Tuesday. The semi-truck driver sustained moderate injuries. The Dodge van driver, unidentified, confirmed dead on scene. This crash is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers, send our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the van driver.
