A man was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Highway 280 in San Jose on Tuesday evening. The victim was involved in an accident which caused him to exit his vehicle, upon exiting he was struck by an oncoming vehicle. Patch reported on the accident and stated, a white Chevrolet pickup truck driven by a woman was heading south on the highway when a green Honda sedan struck the right rear side of the truck. The Honda then lost control and collided with a Toyota sedan, of which was driven by the man that was fatally struck. The victim had gotten out of his car and was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The hit-and-run driver did not stop. Tragically, the victims three children were in the backseat of his car and witnesses their father’s death.
