Hit and Run in Grover Beach

On Tuesday afternoon, a motorcyclist was struck by a car in a Grover Beach intersection. According to KSBY News Channel Six, the incident happened at about 1:15 p.m. at Oak Park Boulevard and Mentone Avenue. Thankfully, the motorcyclist didn’t appear to have suffered from serious injuries on the scene. Authorities were looking for a Red 1999 Toyota Solara that took off down Oak Park Boulevard toward Oceana.

As of 4:10 p.m. that afternoon, the driver and vehicle thought to be involved in the hit-and-run crash were located. No information has been released about the extent of damage to the motorcycle, but the car was very likely damaged in the collision. Very few details have been released about this crash, which is still under investigation with local law enforcement authorities.
